Huawei Connect 2024, held from September 19-21 in Shanghai, brought together global technology leaders, partners, and developers in a widely attended event. Under the theme “Empowering Intelligence,” the event focused on digital transformation across industries within the framework of Huawei’s “All Intelligence Strategy” and solutions.
Digital Transformation and AI Highlighted at Huawei Connect 2024!
Huawei’s Vice President and Rotating CEO, Eric Xu, delivered the opening keynote, emphasizing the transformative impact of AI on businesses. Xu highlighted that Huawei’s AI solutions have six core features, stating that future business models will be shaped by attributes like “Seamless User Experience” and “Autonomous Operations.” He also noted that with AI-native infrastructures, businesses will gain a competitive edge in their digital transformation journeys.
One of the key highlights of the event was Huawei’s sector-specific solutions, developed in line with the “All Intelligence Strategy.” These solutions cater to industries such as energy, healthcare, automotive, and education, providing significant improvements in efficiency and security. Particularly, AI-driven solutions in the energy sector enhance sustainability and safety standards, contributing to the digitalization of the industry.
David Wang, Huawei’s Executive Director of the Board, highlighted the accelerating pace of industrial digitalization. Wang underscored the impact of cloud computing and AI-powered systems on businesses, noting that Huawei’s CANN 8.0, Ascend, and Kunpeng solutions are driving digital transformation.
Additionally, Huawei introduced 10 new digital and AI solutions at the event. These innovations aim to accelerate digitalization, while the Global Digitalization Index, revealed by Huawei, shed light on digital transformation processes worldwide.
At the Huawei Connect 2024 awards ceremony, 90 awards were presented to partners who excelled in digital transformation. Huawei emphasized that these collaborations will shape not only today’s digitalization processes but also the future economy.
Lastly, on the final day of the event, Huawei held roundtable discussions with its partners to explore digital transformation opportunities. Key partners like Koçsistem, Linewell, and Neuxnet participated in these discussions, addressing potential collaborations and strategies for digitalization.
